REGULATORY ENVIRONMENT
The following is the set of laws, regulations, and guidelines in Ecuador with which the Foundation Music for the Planet is compliant. The seven items enumerate how government agencies oversee the functioning, stability and safety of MFTP, as well as ensures that donors are protected.
  1. National Constitution of Ecuador.Art 258. The Galápagos Province is governed under a “Special Legal Regime”. MFTP will develop an educational institution within the aforementioned lawful regulation.
  2. Law of culture for Ecuador. Art 26. The Statutes of MFTP have been recognized and approved since May 24, 2023
  3. Law of culture for Ecuador. Art. 24. About private organizations, and associations . MFTP is recognized by the Ministry of Culture since July 27, 2023.
  4. Law for Single Taxpayer Registration: MFTP is already enrolled in the Taxpayer Registration in Ecuador.
  5. Organic Code of Autonomy, and Decentralization for Galápagos. MFTP can use public spaces for its activities within the authorization of the Galápagos government.
  6. MFTP has been included in the Official Registry, Ministry of Culture, Procedure # MCYP-MCYP-2023-0085-A undersigned on July 2, 2023.
  7. MFTP is active in the RUC (Single Registry for taxpayers / Registro Único de Contribuyentes in Spanish) as #2091767845001, from February 3, 2025.
